Designing clothing has been part of my life for as long as I can remember.

My name is Ava Sheridan, and in 2006 my dearest friend Caithlin and I opened our very first boutique on a quiet street in Dublin. It wasn't much in those early days — just a small shop with a handful of pieces, a rail or two, and a clear vision of what we wanted to create.

We had spent years learning about fabrics, fits, and what truly makes a woman feel comfortable in what she wears. Not something loud or overdone, but something that feels just right the moment you put it on.

Very quickly, we began to notice the same thing again and again. Irish women weren't looking for more choice, more trends, or more complexity. They were looking for pieces they could rely on. Dresses that flatter naturally, feel easy to wear, and don't need constant fussing with throughout the day.

What began as a small idea on that quiet Dublin street slowly grew into something far greater. Not by chasing trends, but by staying consistent in what has always mattered.

Over the years, the boutique changed in size, collections evolved, and more women found their way to Sheridan Dublin. But the foundation has always remained the same. Pieces designed for real life — for different shapes, different moments, and different stages of life.

For 20 years now, Caithlin and I have focused on creating collections that feel effortless. Soft fabrics, considered fits, and styles you can return to again and again.

Each collection is produced in limited quantities and chosen with care. Once a piece is gone, we do not restock it.

Today, as we mark two decades of Sheridan Dublin, we remain deeply grateful for every woman who has been part of this journey.
